RICS Caribbean Welcomes Three Newly Qualified Members
Congratulations to Celsus Baptiste - Chartered Valuation Surveyor - St. Lucia, Shane Roberts - Chartered Quantity Surveyor - British Virgin Islands, and Genevieve Seaman - Chartered Valuation Surveyor - Barbados. All three completed the RICS APC - Assessment of Professional Competence - which requires a written submission and one hour interview. For more information about membership, please click here.

Four Members Join RICS Caribbean Board
RICS Americas is pleased to announce that four individuals will be joining the RICS Caribbean Board as of December 1. Help us congratulate Eric Allen MRICS of Jamaica and Peter Morris FRICS of Trinidad and Tobago who were elected to the Board and Charisse Griffith-Charles MRICS and Ivan Hinkson FRICS, both of Trinidad and Tobago who were selected to the Board.
The RICS Caribbean Board comprises eight RICS members, including the chair Sanjay Amin FRICS who are responsible for shaping and executing policies, programs and strategies in the Caribbean in collaboration with the rest of RICS Americas. These responsibilities include promoting the RICS brand, motivating member engagement and growing the membership.

Five members vie for two available seats on the RICS Caribbean Board.
RICS Americas is pleased to confirm that five MRICS and FRICS from four different islands submitted their nominations for election to the RICS Caribbean Board. Two of four open board seats will be filled through the election process. The voting period runs through 5:00 pm ET on Monday November 21.
RICS welcomes two new MRICS in Bahamas.
Congratulations to Daria Stubbs MRICS of DHP Associates and Cliff Moxey MRICS of Phoenix Engineering Group who were elected as Chartered Quantity Surveyors earlier today. RICS Caribbean launches new Continued Professional Development Series
Please join the RICS Barbados Chapter on Friday September 16 for a 90-minute presentation on the use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) in construction disputes. Members, colleagues and guests are all encouraged to attend. This seminar will be of particular interest to clients, contractors, sub-contractors, architects, surveyors, engineers, project managers and lawyers. This event is expected to be the first in a series of region-wide programming across the diverse land, property and built environment disciplines RICS represents. |
