RICS Tri-State Chapter: 9/11 Memorial Tour - NYC, NY

The RICS Tri-State Chapter invites you to take a tour of the 9/11 Memorial plaza.

In commemoration of the 9/11 attacks and in recognition of
Green Building Week, the Tri-State chapter has organized
a tour of the Memorial plaza, which has been built as a sustainable and green site.

The tour will be led by Colin Parkes MRICS and Jim Stawniczy AIA LEED AP, who both worked on the environmental aspects of the Memorial plaza.

The group check-in is located at the intersection of Trinity Place and Thames Street
(shown on the map below).

They strongly recommend the use of public transportation to access lower Manhattan.

By Subway:
• A, C, J, M, Z, 2, 3, 4, or 5 trains to Fulton Street: exit onto Fulton St. and walk west to Church St. Walk south and turn right on Thames St.
• 2 or 3 trains to Park Place: exit onto Church St. Walk south and turn right on Thames St.
• E train to World Trade Center: exit onto Church St. Walk south and turn right on Thames St.
• R train to Rector Street: exit onto Trinity Pl. Walk north and turn left on Thames St.
• R train to Cortlandt Street: exit onto Church St. Walk south and turn right on Thames St.
• 1 train to Rector Street: exit onto Greenwich St. Walk north and turn left on Albany St.

By Bus:
• M5 Southbound: get off at Broadway and Thames St. Walk west on Thames St.
• M5 Northbound: get off at Trinity Pl. and Rector St. Walk north and turn left on Thames St.
• M20 Southbound: get off on South End Avenue between Liberty St. and Albany St. Walk south and turn left to Albany St. Continue across West St. and then turn left.
• M22 Southbound: get off on Vesey St. between North End Ave. and West St. Walk south through World Financial Center to Albany Street. Turn left on Albany St. Continue across West St. and then turn left.

By PATH:
The PATH train serves the World Trade Center terminal from New Jersey.
