Hessam Nadji oversees Marcus & Millichap’s research and advisory services division. The division consists of 30 real estate professionals who produce the firm’s numerous reports and publications on the economy, demographics and real estate trends. The group’s activities and publications support valuation, underwriting and development of specific investment strategies for the firm’s brokerage clients. Mr. Nadji also manages the design and application of various research and marketing tools and analysis-related technology. He is a regular contributor to CNBC, Fox Business News, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Investor’s Business Daily. He joined Marcus & Millichap in 1996 as vice president of research and was promoted to managing director in April 2000.

As Senior Vice President and Chief Economist, Bob Bach prepares Grubb & Ellis’ national market publications covering the office, industrial, retail and investment markets. Mr. Bach oversees the preparation of approximately 90 Metro Trends reports covering quarterly market conditions in metropolitan office and industrial markets across the US. He works with research managers in the local offices of Grubb & Ellis to ensure their data are accurate. He is a frequent speaker at national professional conferences. Mr. Bach has 30 years of professional experience in real estate market research, consulting and city planning.
