How to Do a Deal in this Economy - Dallas, TX

Charles A. (Mac) McClure CCIM FRICS will speak on “How to Do a Deal in this Economy.” McClure, a CCIM Instructor for twenty five years and an RICS Fellow, will show how he used his CCIM tools and GIS to put together the acquisition and development of a recently closed deal by using non-traditional analytical tools to determine the demand for his product. Mac has been a real estate developer for over thirty five years and promises to bring the real world to academia in this hard-hitting presentation. In this world, the property professional must pull together all of the tools available to make both qualitative and quantitative business decisions. Mac will demonstrate how this was accomplished in one of his group’s recent transactions that actually closed during the height of the recession last year. In addition, Mac will field questions for the audience on how to incorporate these tools in the real world of 2011. Bring your appetite, your pens, paper, note pads and your questions as this promises to be one of the best how-to-do-it sessions of 2011.

Voelker confirms, “This will be the first in hopefully a series of events that RICS can put together with the CCIM Institute in the North Texas area and will serve as the kickoff for the recently signed memorandum of understanding between RICS and CCIM, providing a pathway for membership in both organizations.”
