How to Join


 

RICS welcomes applicants from diverse backgrounds, who have a combination of academic and/or professional qualifications and relevant experience.  Your route to membership will depend on your professional experience, the professional and academic qualifications that you hold, and your current employment. 

 

Interested individuals should send their resume - three pages or less - using our Online Form.

The resume should include:
1. Professional designations/credentials, including dates received
2. Diploma/degree details including start and graduation dates
3. Relevant experience for last 10 to 15 years
4. Two to three paragraphs about your current management of people and/or projects.


The resume will be reviewed by an
RICS Americas staff member and forwarded to a RICS member review committee to confirm if there is a route to membership for you at this time.

 

This review process can take up to three weeks.  Submitting incomplete information may increase the review period. Once a resume is received, it will be acknowledged within five business days.
