Matt Bruck is a strategist, manager and investor, with extensive hands-on experience in business development, strategic planning, brand building and entrepreneurial management. As Managing Director of RICS Americas, Matt plans and leads all initiatives across the Americas for the world’s largest organization for professionals in real estate, construction and related environmental issues. He has driven the brand to prominence and turned the operations around, from declining revenues to consistent “best-ever” growth. As a Partner in McDuff Capital (and previously as Managing Director of KnowledgeCube), Matt has advised and managed companies across diverse industries from early stage through successful exit, defining strategies and marketing plans. He has structured deals and led fundraising processes for varied private equity and real estate transactions. Previously, at Meredith & Co., a $1.4 billion fund of funds, Matt served as Chief Operating Officer of the firm, overseeing marketing, research, customer service and brokerage, as well as the launch of several private equity funds. Matt began his professional career as a management consultant, assessing competitive environments and devising market strategies with Marakon Associates (now Trinsum) and Brotman Communications. Matt has been involved in planning several successful startup efforts, including Firefly (acquired by Microsoft), and continues to advise entrepreneurs and non-profits. He lectures regularly on topics in management, investment and real estate. Matt currently sits on the advisory boards of World Property Group, Flavorpill, the Green Building Finance Forum and GameRank. Matt holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a JD from Boston University and a BA from Stanford University.
