| NEW YORK – July 1, 2010 – RICS Americas is pleased to announce the upgrade of 13 qualified Members (MRICS) to RICS Fellowship (FRICS) status since April 2010. Most MRICS are eligible to apply for Fellowship as soon as they are elected. What does it mean to be an RICS Fellow? The letters FRICS represent a prestigious RICS award that reflects the career achievements of a special group of property professionals. Typically, Fellows are leaders in their companies and fields who have completed unique projects and contributed significantly to the profession. Within the last year, more than one hundred members have successfully applied for and received this prestigious designation in the RICS Americas region. MRICS who submit their complete applications for the August deadline will receive the result by November 22, 2010.
