11/23/2009 18:03

NEW YORK – November 23, 2009 – RICS Americas, a division of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the world’s leading membership organization for professionals in property, land, construction and related environmental issues, announced today the launch of RICS Americas Career Center, a new member benefit.

The RICS Americas Career Center, found online at http://www.ricsamericas.org/jobs, enables professionals in real estate, valuation, construction and related business disciplines to search for jobs in every area of expertise – and also post resumes to the site. Employers in the RICS Americas community and their recruiters may also place job advertisements for open positions on the site.

“Because the current job market is flooded with job seekers, it is increasingly difficult to distinguish candidates that are experienced and competent,” said Matt Bruck, managing director, RICS Americas. “Employers need a recruitment resource specifically for their industry and for the caliber of professionals they require.”

RICS members who use the Career Center receive the benefit of knowing that job applicants and employers are highly qualified, competent and follow best practices in their profession. Capabilities of the Career Center include: posting and viewing resumes; creating personal job alerts; and performing easy online recruiting.

An additional benefit of the Career Center for RICS members is 50 percent off the prices of job postings.
