The world’s top design, planning, construction and project management firms were selected to create the World Trade Center Memorial. The Memorial that will commemorate the tragedies of September 11, 2001and February 26, 1993 is currently one of the most extraordinary, challenging and historic development projects in the United States. It will comprise two imposing pools set within the footprints of the Twin Towers with the largest manmade waterfalls in the country cascading down their sides. Because of its complexity with regard to sustainable design and unique architectural features, the construction of the Memorial has required a great amount of expertise and ingenuity from highly experienced project management and construction companies.
